4 Flower Inspired Accent Colors for Spring 2021
With spring just around the corner and the beautiful weather we’ve been having this week, I am eager to get my outdoor spaces put back together. I have been looking at photos of beautiful flowers for inspiration and keep finding myself drawn to some of the more subtle, natural colors. Turns out I am in luck, because muted tones seem to be on-trend this year! Keep reading for some of my favorite outdoor accent colors for spring 2021
Misty Blue
I use a lot of navy in my outdoor cushions, and this misty blue color is a perfect compliment. The featured tasseled outdoor pillow has a delicate medallion print in this muted blue. And how gorgeous are these flowers? The flower is called Love in a Mist and is absolutely dreamy in both name and appearance!
Onyx
It might be a little weird to feature black as a spring color, but when paired with a high contrast base like in this diamond-stitched pillow, it is perfect for spring! I love how the sharp lines and angles mirror that of the Onyx Helleborus flower.
Peachy Keen
Back in 2019, the Pantone color of the year was “Living Coral.” This peachy keen pillow option delivers a similar pop of color in a more subtle way. I think it is safe to say that variations of this color are here to stay, and these Superbena Royale flowers deliver all the variations!
French Vanilla
Chrysanthemums are typically a fall flower, but this creamy french vanilla color is the perfect neutral compliment for any outdoor space. I love the contrast of deep navy and cream in this colorblocked pillow from Studio McGee.
