15 Finds for the Perfect Easter Tablescape
This post is part of our monthly “Fresh Finds Friday” series, which showcases my favorite new home decor products and tips on how to incorporate them into your home.
Did you know the first official day of spring is next Saturday? As the weather warms up and the flowers begin to bloom, I am so ready for spring! To bring that spring feeling inside, I went shopping for the perfect accessories to set a beautiful Easter table. I found so many things I love, that I set up both my formal dining table and my smaller banquette. Keep reading for styling tips on how I incorporated Easter into my centerpieces and my place settings!
For this centerpiece set up, it’s all about scale! The table is pretty large, so I could make my centerpiece really stand out! Lots of layering (like this acacia charger inside the basket) helps bulk up this centerpiece so it feels proportionate to the table. In addition to being large, the table is also dark, so I used faux peonies and these adorable porcelain bunnies for some contrast.
For the place settings, I started with these gorgeous floral stoneware salad plates and built around them. The soft yellow dinner plate and blush pink linen napkin were perfect complements to the impressionist flowers on the salad plates. The gold flatware adds some extra sparkle to the table to finish it off!
At my banquette, I have a smaller tulip table, so I kept the centerpiece simple. I use a cake stand to create levels and faux peonies to brighten things up. I also loved the delicate floral label on this candle, and it smells like spring!
For a more whimsical place setting, I decided to layer the plate with a watercolor bunny over a bold floral dinner plate. I used the green from the floral plate as inspiration for the muted green printed woven napkin. This place setting’s charm is reminiscent of old stories by Beatrix Potter.
